Arun Maira (born August 15, 1943) is a management consultant and former member of India’s Planning Commission. [1][2] He is also a former Boston Consulting Group India Chairman. Arun Maira spent 25 years with the Tata Group, was the CEO of Innovation Associates in the United States, and was the chairperson of the Boston Consulting Group in India. From 2009 to 2014, he was a member of India’s erstwhile Planning Commission.

He is currently the chairperson of HelpAge International. His works include Remaking India: One Country, One Destiny and Shaping the Future: Aspirational Leadership in India and Beyond. Listening for Well-Being: Conversations with People Who Aren’t Like Us is his most recent book.
